GALAS
In celebration of Stonewall 50/World Pride, Theatre at St. John's is honoring the legacy of the legendary Ridiculous Theatrical Company. Original company member Everett Quinton keeps the spirit of this revolutionary company alive as he directs and stars in this classic from the mind of Charles Ludlam. (Ludlam has a star on Playwright's Sidewalk on Christopher Street.) The life of Maria Callas' turbulent life, on stage and off, provides the material for Ludlam's satirical farce. The evening performance on Sunday, June 16 will be Opening Night.
