The Pump House welcomes back our very own internationally known saxophonist Dan Moretti www.danmoretti.com and his Jazz Latino group for our First Sunday Jazz Series. Over the past year Dan has brought in a diverse crew of world-class jazz players to The Pump House. On May 5th we are so happy to welcome back Jazz Latino featuring-
Bernardo Hernandez on Quartro and Nylon String Guitar: Performances with Soledad Bravo, Vicky Carr, Chekeré, Tito Gomez, Humano, Antonio Lauro, Israel Lopez, Victor Mendoza, Pablo Milanes, Recordings as a leader for CBS and Polydor with
Fernando Huergo on Bass: composer, and educator from Cordoba, Argentina, now based in Boston. He has recorded over 140 albums, and has played with a whos who in the Latin community including 11 as a leader. Fernando has toured and given clinics in North, Central and South America, Europe and Asia
Bertram Lehmann Drums: Recording Over 40 CD recordings include, Mehmet Sanlikol Bigband's Whatsnext, Fernando Brandão Group's Sem Tradução, Felipe Salles' Mind Motions, South American Suite, Timelines, Departure (feat. Randy Brecker), The Ugandan Suite (feat. Dave Liebman), Mango Blues' Immigrant Blues.
