Back to School with Ms. Saccoman" is a great way for parents to celebrate their kids return to class and for teachers to express their regret
You'll love the headliner. Susie Saccoman's stage presence is developed from 17 years as an elementary teacher in Minneapolis.. From her family stories growing up on the Range, to her years of working as a teacher in North Minneapolis and everything in between her theory remains true; "Like your husband, love your job! Because you're on the job a lot more than.."
Saccoman has a hilarious, storytelling style. Audiences of all ages and backgrounds enjoy her real approach. Known for being charmingly risqué', Susie's big, brown eyes and animated expression will have you in a belly laugh!
A Native Iron Ranger and elementary school teacher of seventeen years! "Ms. Saccoman" has been a working comic since 1994. She began her comedy career in Fargo, ND while attending college at Concordia, Moorhead.
Susie was a part of Rox Tarrant's, "Women Out All Night" shows since they began in the late 90's and continues to be a part of them today. She has worked with Diane Ford, The Stagebenders, Scott Hansen, Bill Bauer and entertained New York audiences in 2005 with Lewis Black, to name a few.
Rox Tarrant wanted to be a comedian all of her life. As a little girl she used to write plays and get the neighborhood kids to act in them. She would produce the shows in her parent's garage and then charge admission, set up a stage the whole thing! When she tried to get a two-drink minimum from her friends her parents stepped in.
In 1996, Rox entered a stand up comedy contest, "The Twin Cities Funniest Person" competition in Minneapolis. Rox finished third from a sea of 200 entrants. She was also the only woman to make the finals.
Rox has gone on to co-develop and produce one of the best venues for female comedians -"Women Out All Night"- an all female standup comedy showcase playing to sold-out audiences. She has also hosted her own open stage and professional show "Hot Rox".
The Skyway News coined Rox as the "Diva of Late Night Comedy". Her observational style of humor, views on life, single-hood at 50, and her high energy have made her an audience favorite. Josh Florhaug reminds you of the kid you beat up in high school because he probably was. Well don't look over your shoulder because, the terrorized kid is back, has a microphone, and is taking no prisoners!
Josh takes you on an adventure through the life of a guy who was the whitest kid in school, a male cheerleader, product of a dysfunctional family and battle with his sexual identity (My parents still think I am gay!)
Josh does things a little differently and keeps you laughing the whole time. Josh gives a timid take on topics such as high school, culinary school and dating. Josh is a rising star in the Minneapolis comedy scene and a must-see act all over the Midwest.
