Metivta 2019 Spring Retreat with Daniel Matt
Metivta invites you to join acclaimed scholar, meditation leader, and Zohar expert, Daniel Matt in a two-day retreat June 14-16, How Kabbalah Reimagines God, Torah and Judaism.
Join Over the weekend, we will explore how the Kabbalah re-imagines the nature of God, revelation, and what Judaism can mean for us today. Daniel Matt will guide us through passages from the Zohar and other texts of Kabbalah, focusing on the following:
Ein Sof (God as Infinity);
Shekhinah (the feminine Divine Presence), the Divine energy animating the universe;
Ayin (mystical Nothingness, or No-thingness),
Torah, its mystical meaning;
Shabbat, its spiritual depth;
and meditation and the significance of every single day.
Daniel Matt Retreat Cancellation Policy:
For attendees with room reservations (residents):
Up to one month prior to the retreat (May 14), registrations are refundable less a 10%. processing fee.
- After May 16 to May 31, 50% refundable.
- After May 16 (two weeks prior) - registrations are non-refundable.
For commuters:
Cancellation up to one month prior (May 14), refundable less 10% processing fee;
- Cancellation after
May 14. 23 to June 7: 50% refundable.
- Cancellation after June 7 (one week prior): non-refundable.
