I was fascinated with this band when they came here two years ago. A unique approach. Brilliant musicianship and real edge to the songs.
The Jeremiahs combine traditional and contemporary sounds to create their own brand of Urban Folk music. Since founding in 2013 they have trailblazed across Ireland and Europe playing some of the top venues and Festivals. Click below for a good sample of their dynamic sound.
Opening will be Colleen White (vocals, whistle, flute) and Sean Smith (vocals, guitar, bouzouki, bodhran). This duo are of different generations, but find common ground in their love of the music of Ireland and the UK. Their repertoire includes traditional songs and instrumentals as well as material from contemporary singer-songwriters like Kate Rusby, Karine Polwart, Steve Tilston and Tommy Sands, presented with pleasing vocal harmonies and solid accompaniment.
