Rainbow Theatre Project Presents: Stonewall 50
The Rainbow Theatre Project debuts an evening of BRAND NEW short plays that pay homage to the activists of the Stonewall riots.
Join the Rainbow Theatre Project as we celebrate the legacy and worldwide changes that started from the Stonewall events in June 1969. The protests lit the fire for PRIDE, the effects of which are still as vital today as they were 50 years ago.
About Stonewall: Half a century ago, on June 29, a tiny gay bar in New York Citys West Village became the hub for LGBTQ activism after a violent boiling point was reached between bar-goers and the police who had spent six days harassing them.
Three performances only. Directed by Stephanie Kelly
Please note: The Stonewall 50 performances are presented in a semi-staged format. The actors may carry scripts
