BetterDucks
Forged through iterations of original bands in Berlin, Germany since 2016, BetterDucks are an indie alt-rock band fronted by German-born vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Dirk Externest. Externest is backed by stalwart Philly area musicians Nick Voutsakis on lead guitar and backing vocals, Mark Betterly on bass, and John Morgan on drums and backing vocals.
This is a musical exposé of the times, from the wide open to the intimate, with a bit of alt and vintage imagery. BetterDucks are headlining locally and opening for national touring bands at some of the areas most intimate music venues. Check out a show and their first release And Then Some.
