Cataldo
In anticipation of Signal Flare's release, Paste Magazine named Cataldo an "Emergent Artist," alongside the likes of Bon Iver, Thao Nguyen, and Throw Me The Statue. The advance accolades have proved worthy as the record, though newly released, has already received heavy airplay on radio stations such as the highly respected KCRW in Los Angeles.
The album was mixed with Tucker Martine (who has produced records for The Decemberists, Laura Veirs, Thao Nguyen, and Jesse Sykes & the Sweet Hereafter). The album, also, features performances by current members of Cloud Cult and former members of Tapes 'n Tapes.
