WCIT and BNSF Present: Keep Freight Moving Annual Freight Policy Breakfast
In an increasingly interconnected economy, the ability to move goods reliably and quickly is essential for both consumers and businesses. Unfortunately, freight bottlenecks and other forms of congestion cost U.S. businesses about $200 billion a year due to the increased price to move goods. Improving our freight networks will allow us to keep pace with rapid economic growth and help us attract more employers who want to take advantage of our convenient access to and from the rest of the world.
Confirmed Speakers: Monty Anderson, Executive Director, Seattle Building and Construction Trades Council Steve Bobb, Executive Vice President and CMO, BNSF Colin Hastings, Executive Director, Pasco Chamber of Commerce Courtney Gregoire, Commissioner, Port of Seattle
