"VOICES" Lunch & Visual Arts Workshop with Jesse Krimes at Ebenezer Church, 701 N Lime St, Lancaster
Join formerly incarcerated artist and Lancaster native Jesse Krimes for a workshop exploring issues of incarceration, reentry, and community. Participants will be instructed in image collage techniques and have their works incorporated into a large community quilt. Voices aims to elevate the voices of those most affected by crime and punishment and connect shared beliefs into a collective vision for building a more safe and just society. The project will culminate in a public exhibition with accompanying programming at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm.
Voices is being created in partnership with the Lancaster County RMO for Returning Citizens , and is supported by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation and the Art for Justice Fund in collaboration with the Ford Foundation.
