Pardon Me, Doug (Maine's premiere Phish tribute)
Pardon Me, Doug is New England's premiere Phish tribute band, and they come as close to replicating an actual Phish concert as you can get. Best of all, you don't need to spend 60 bucks on a ticket or drive a few hundred miles to see the nearest show! They take their craft seriously, recreating the same arrangements and harmonies and delving into the long exploratory jams practically patented by the Vermont jam band that inspires them. They also put on the best light show of any bar band in Maine.
These four guys played to an enthusiastic crowd here at the Franco Center in February 2013 and their audiences have only grown since then as more people learn they can satisfy their craving for Phish without having to leave the state. Over the last year Pardon Me, Doug has been moving up to increasingly larger venues and it may be just a matter of time before they outgrow the confines of the Franco Center. See them for under ten bucks while you still can.
PLEASE NOTE: This concert was originally scheduled for Saturday, January 25. However, due to a schedule conflict, the concert has been moved ahead one day and will take place Friday, January 24, 2014.
