When this man is passing through, you open your doors and give thanks. We're proud to host Chris Thomas King for a return show this summer.
King grew up among the finest blues musicians in the genre at his father, Tabby Thomas' famed Baton Rouge blues club, Tabby's Blues Box and Heritage Hall. He has toured with well known, established artists such as Buddy Guy and B.B. King.
His music is influenced by the blues, early hip-hop and country music, fostering a unique sound. He writes, arranges, sings and plays all the instruments on most of his recordings and produces in his New Orleans recording studios, 21st Century Blues Studios.
Along with his impressive music career, Chris Thomas King has garnered high praise for his roles in films such as "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and Lowell Fulson in the Ray Charles biopic "Ray", including Country Music and Grammy Awards.
