A piece that centers around a central question of "what are you so afraid of?" It seeks to explore relationships by reevaluating how we choose to communicate regarding intimacy and vulnerability. By using a solo performance structure, it uses both performance and performance art to find the liminal space of how to get past ourselves enough to engage with other people by making the public--private. The piece allows people to engage with me in any way they choose. How do we get to the point where we can authentically be ourselves with other people, while acknowledging that we are always who we are even when we feel like we are not? This will be a celebration of interaction through a combination of acting, music, projection, song, dance, and storytelling.
Content Advisory: Discussions of sexual content, family abuse, and depression/anxiety.
