Ernest Troost (Opener: Lindsey Fyfe & Dan Tresser)
Ernest Troost is a singer-songwriter and a Kerrville-New-Folk winner whose songwriting style combines folk and Piedmont-blues-style guitar picking with evocative stories and colorful character portrayalsas though the Carter family, Robbie Robertson, and Alfred Hitchcock wrote songs together.
Ernest grew up in Ridgefield, CT and found a career in Hollywood writing soundtracks for TV shows and movies. He has earned five Emmy nominations for scores composed for a variety of TV series and HBO specials. He's a fine singer-songwriter who tries to write "songs that are little on the outside, but big on the inside." This show will be Ernest's Sounding Board debut
