Dark of the Moon
Set in the Appalachian Mountains and featuring a backdrop of Appalachian music and dialects, the play centers on the character of John, a witch boy who seeks to become human after falling in love with a human girl, Barbara Allen. Their relationship sparks waves of gossip and hatred, eventually culminating in violence against the young couple and their newborn child. RATED R
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m., for the three-weekend run October 18-November 3, 2019.
