May The Fourth Be With You
On the evening of Friday, May 3rd,
six playwrights, six directors, and eighteen actors
were randomly sorted into teams of five.
Each team composed one writer, one director, and three actors and assigned one location within Uptown Cafe & Gallery (5010 N Sheridan Rd.).
The teams devised a new ten-minute play to premiere 24 hours later on May 4th.
Three of the six plays will be performed in the Uptown Cafe & Gallery and the remaining three within Latin School of Chicago: Uptown Partnership (on the corner of Argyle and Sheridan).
The audience will immediately travel to the second location and experience each performance consecutively. $10 Advance Tickets online and $15 at the door. We accept cash or credit card.
All tickets include entrance to the After Party, 10:45pm to Midnight. There will be concessions available during that time.
