The Doll Play: A Miniature Revolution
Witchboy Theatre and Blood Pact Theatre's co-production of The Doll Play: A Miniature Revolution tells the story of a dysfunctional community of dolls who live in the waiting room of a child psychologists office. Having suffered years of mistreatment and abuse at the hands of the psychologist's young patients, the dolls are galvanized to a new vengeful purpose by the sudden appearance of Anne and Andy, two very particular dolls with a very particular purpose that have just escaped their long isolation in the psychologist's desk drawer. Infuriated by the extent of the trauma suffered by these new arrivals, the dolls mobilize their rage and resentment and target it at the ultimate scapegoat: the psychologist herself.
