Celebrate Water 2019
Help us commemorate another successful year of CELP's work advocating for Washington's rivers and streams. This year, we will be presenting Larry Wasserman with the Ralph W. Johnson Water Hero Award for his activism which ultimately secured improved protections and management of our state's water resources. We will also be hosting a silent auction featuring great items and gift certificates from Patagonia, the Mariners, and more! Event Schedule:
4-5pm: CELP will also be hosting a pre-reception Continuing Legal Education workshop from 4 to 5 pm**
5:30-8pm: Celebrate Waters Reception.
CLE INFORMATION:
- Guest Speaker: Amanda Cronin - Topic: Piloting Voluntary Groundwater Mitigation in Arizona
The Center for Environmental Law & Policy is a statewide organization whose mission is to protect, preserve and restore Washingtons waters through education, policy reform, agency advocacy, and public interest litigation. Indeed, with climate change reducing our glaciers and threatening our groundwater supply and a growing population spurring more development, water is becoming increasingly scarce in Washington. That shortage makes CELP's work of promoting sustainable use of our water resources more imperative than ever. We hope you can join us on June 20th, and raise much-needed funds for CELP's important work in Washington!
