Dan OSullivan with special guests songwriters Laura May, Alexa Wiley, and Don Wheatley in the round.
Prior to becoming a solo act, Dan O'Sullivan had a nearly two decade long career as a guitarist-for-hire which took him to performing with musical acts as diverse as South Korea's Patti Kim, 50's R+B vocal legends the Coasters, Blues singer Barbara Morrison, Adult Contemporary star Michael Bolton, and to sharing the bill with Reggae acts such as Maxi Priest, Eek-A-Mouse, and Big Mountain. Eventually Dan eschewed the sideman role and began performing solo, writing his own songs, and releasing CDs. For the past 12 years Dan has averaged over two hundred solo-acoustic performances a year in Los Angeles and on the road. Dan visits the Northwest once a year and the Artichoke has become a favorite venue.
