Matilde Bernabei: "Out with the Ugly"
Ecstatic to be performing with Pangea again, Matilde has finally found the perfect setting for her rich musical storytelling and chilling melodies to be heard. She owns the stage, living in her truth moment to moment, and this performance will be about coming out with her full truths. This experience isn't for the faint of heart as she shares her light and darkness on her ups and downs with relationships, mental health and self-love.
Matilde Bernabei aims to do her part in changing the world for the better by breathing her humanity into her music. Matilde might be new to the singer-songwriter scene, but she is a masterful storyteller thanks to her mother (an inspirational English teacher) and her background in theatre. Shes honed her skills through workshops like the Johnny Mercer Foundation Project and learned gems from Broadway composers and Grammy Award Winning country artists. She's played the historical The Bitter End a handful of times and was honored to be invited to headline her own NYE show at the beloved Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre last year, a house primarily known for its musical theater productions. Let her entice you with her haunting country/pop flavored Joni Mitchell sounds.
