Event
my dear Lewis by Kyle Loven
"my dear Lewis" premiered in Seattle in the fall of 2009 and was last seen locally during a sold-out run at Annex Theatre in February 2010. This one-man show has since toured to Minneapolis, Orlando, NYC, and Amsterdam!
This production will be touring to the National Puppet Festival next month before Kyle brings the World Premiere of "Moon Show 143" to the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis this September. This two-night only surprise fundraising event is in support of these upcoming tour dates.
If you've never seen Kyle's work, if you've discovered him since this show played locally, or if you've been there since the beginning of Kyle's career, don't miss your chance to see this "stunning piece of small-scale theater." (The Stranger)
ABOUT THE SHOW: Lewis is at the end of his journey met with the task of looking back over a life lived. What unfolds is a pilgrimage made by his mind and body into the dark and dusty corners of memory. Puppets, objects, video, and music unexpectedly combine in this intimate one-man show.
