CORIN RAYMOND and SCOTT NOLAN at The STAIRCASE!
I first met Scott Nolan when we did a show together in the Tranzac Main Hall back in 2005, and I was blown away. Also on the bill was Romi Mayes and The D. Rangers. That was a helluva night, and I've been an inspired fan of Scott Nolan's ever since. Aside from being one of my favourite songwriters (the kind whose writing always makes ME want to write, and invariably makes me wish I'd written what he did), Scott is also a producer whose work on William Prince's EARTHLY DAYS got the JUNO for 2016 Roots Album of the Year.
Scott Nolan is the producer of my forthcoming 2019 release DIRTY MANSIONS.
Scott Nolan is a national treasure who rarely leaves his neighbourhood of St. James, let alone Winnipeg. This is a chance to witness a phenomenal talent, a truly and proudly Canadian writer, and one of my songwriting heroesand this will NOT happen again anytime soon.
This is going to be a special night.
