LAVC Theater presents OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR
Five short plays from the 1960s directed by LAVC students in two slates over four performance dates.
Slate One: Thursday, April 25 and Saturday, April 27 DUTCHMAN by Amiri Baraka BRINGING IT ALL BACK HOME by Terrence McNally THE MADNESS OF LADY BRIGHT by Lanford Wilson
Slate Two: Friday, April 26 and Sunday, April 28 LOS VENDIDOS by Luis Valdez CALM DOWN, MOTHER by Megan Terry
Thursday-Saturday performances begin at 7:30pm. Curtain time for the Sunday matinee is 2pm.
The directors are LAVC students Cole Castine, Orlando Muñoz, Enver Messano, Stephanie Morales and Channing Moore. LAVC Chairperson Jennifer L. Read has designed the scenery and the lighting. Stage Manager is Samantha Espino.
All performances of OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR are in the Horseshoe Theater at Los Angeles Valley College. Seating is limited, so please order your tickets early! On the day of your performance, please pick up your tickets at the box office will-call at least 15 minutes before curtain time.TICKETS NOT PICKED UP BY 15 MINUTES BEFORE CURTAIN WILL BE RELEASED FOR SALE. Please note that evening performances begin at 7:30pm, matinees at 2pm. The box office will open one hour before curtain time.
Please note that each play performs on only two dates, so when you make your reservations, make sure you are choosing the correct day!
