Jazz At The Royal Club 2019
The KM Activities Booster Club is proud to present another evening of swing'n jazz performed by our award-winning Kent-Meridian Jazz Band, along with our featured guest artist, talented Seattle Trombonist, Nathan Vetter.
Please join us for an evening of camaraderie and you will bring joy to the hearts of our young musicians. Funds raised will support the operating budgets for all KM Instrumental Music Programs.

About our guest artist: Nathan Vetter graduated with a B.A. in Jazz Studies and Performance in 1997 from William Paterson where he studied under Steve Turre, Conrad Herwig, and Robin Eubanks.
He moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2000 to begin his freelancing career. After securing positions in a variety of local bands and establishing a private teaching studio, he started graduate studies at the University of Washington. There he studied classical trombone with Don Immel, and worked as a teaching assistant for the Jazz Studies department. He received his MM in Trombone Performance in 2006. Currently, Nathan Vetter runs a successful private teaching studio, works as a studio musician, coaches for the SRJO Jazz Scholars Program, and performs regularly in a variety of ensembles from classical to jazz and salsa. He also tours with the Grammy Award-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra.
