SHOW DESCRIPTION There is a bag of letters from Barbara that nobody has opened for many years. Mom has the bag. Somewhere in that bag is Barbara's suicide note. Letter by letter, Mom and Twig learn about Twig's grandmother Barbara, who left us when Mom was two years old. Meanwhile, Dad is building a deck and someone named Benny moves in next to Twig.
Content/trigger warning: This play heavily concerns suicide and suicidal ideation.

Alex Cadena (Producer) is a graduate of Yale University who works primarily in film and theatre producing. Her work as a theatre producer with her company AC Pictures includes the New York International Fringe Festival (Under: A New Musical), Corkscrew Theatre Festival (End of Mermaids, Dolls House), and Mabou Mines Suite/Space program (Anna May Wong). Her company also has several award-winning shorts that have premiered at the Next International Film Festival, Worldfest-Houston (Dream Girl-Golden Remi), Sene Film Festivals, Austin Comedy Short Film Fest, and Womens Voices Now. Upcoming film work includes White Flags (starring Shaunette Renee Wilson), and Sirenas. Diane Chen (TWIG) is an award-winning multidisciplinary filmmaker & theater artist based in NYC. Their award-winning series Here We Wait has garnered 31 nominations so far on the festival circuit including a win for Diane as Best Supporting Actress at Brooklyn Webfest and a Best Lead Actress: Drama nomination at the IAWTV Awards. Upcoming, they are producing and starring in Sideways Smile, a series about an Asian-American female in her comedic journey discovering her sexuality, and is a recipient of the Made in NY Womens Fund for Film, Television, and Theatre. Patricia Randell (MOM) Recently played Nurse Ratched to rave reviews at Playhouse on Park. Premiered DURANG DURANG at Manhattan Theatre Club and four Marathons at EST. Played Sheila Bair in HBOs TOO BIG TO FAIL. Other theatre: Penguin Rep, Pan Asian, TACT, Peccadillo, Denver Center, Portland Stage, Alabama Shakespeare, Geva, Inge Festival, Key West Theatre, John Drew and Studio Arena. Randall Trang (Dad) is from Boston, MA and attended school at Brown University. His stage credits include William Inge's Picnic and Cinthia Chen's Anna May Wong: The Actress Who Died a Thousand Deaths, in which he originated the role of Sessue Hayakawa. Randall lives in New York where he has guest starred and performed stunts in film/TV productions such as The Post and Madam Secretary.
Anya Richkind (Playwright) is a Brooklyn-based playwright and graduate of Yale University. A finalist in the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's National Playwrights Conference and the Leah Ryan's Fund for Emerging Women Writers, and a semi-finalist in the Bay Area Playwrights Festival, Anya has studied with Donald Margulies, Deb Margolin, Sarah Ruhl and Liz Duffy Adams. Anyas work has been produced at Yale, The Paradise Factory with Corkscrew Theater Festival, The Tank, Shetler Studios, The Barrow Group Theatre, the New School for Drama, The American Conservatory Theaters Young Conservatory and Marin Country Day School. Jenna Rossman (Director) is a Brooklyn based director. Recent directing credits include: SOMETHING FOR THE FISH (Center for Performance Research), tender of you too (The Tank); The Brian Wilson Space Experiment (SAS Lab). Jenna has worked as an assistant/associate director for Young Jean Lee, Kip Fagan, and Annie Tippe among others. Upcoming: ARE YOU HAPPY NOW at the Tank and assistant directing Certain Women of An Age, directed by Kimberly Senior. BFA: NYU.
