The Theory Conspiracy Trio - 420 Special
This will be the premiere of The Theory Conspiracy, an instrumental trio based in NYC.  Within the jazz vocabulary and sound, the trio explores music genres such as rock, electronic, drum n bass, funk, pop, experimental. Repertoire includes original compositions, as well as covers from Michael Jackson, Bud Powell, Cedar Walton, and more.

Carlos Homs is a keyboardist/composer/producer from New York City. As an alumnus of Berklee College of Music and New School University, Carlos has gone on to perform, tour and record with hip-hop, pop, jazz and avant-garde artists including Peter Evans, Tyshawn Sorey, Pete Robbins, Mos Def (Yassin Bey), Bernard Purdie, Jim Black, Reggie Workman, Steve Lehman, Kim Thompson, Jason Palmer, James Moody, Cirkut(producer), Mustafa da Poet, Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra and others.

Bassist, James Robbins is an international bassist and composer currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. He has played with jazz giants past and present such as: Clark Terry, Billy Taylor, George Benson, James Moody, Freddie Hubbard, Eric Lewis, Johnny O'Niel, Gerald Clayton, Sullivan Fortner, Nikolas Anadolis, Stephane Tremble, Joel Fram, and many many more. He also played Columbian electro group Delsonido, and rock band Thank You Scientist. James teaches part time at the American School of Modern Music in Paris.

Juan Chiavassa was born in Venado Tuerto, Argentina, 1991. In 2015 he was awarded with the Avedis ZIldjian Scholarship. IHe graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2016. He had the opportunity to work and study with artists such as John Patitucci, Terence Blanchard, George Garzone, David Kikoski, Leo Genovese, Kenny Werner, Paquito DRivera, Oscar Stagnaro, Bob Moses, Pablo Ziegler, Ruben Rada, Hugo Fattoruso, Ricardo Nole, Gonzalo Aloras, among others. Juan is an active musician who is currently playing in venues all around NYC, as well as recording and producing musical projects, both as a leader and as a sideman. He has done music tours in US, Canada, Japan, Italy, Colombia, Argentina and Uruguay, with different musical projects.

Seating at Pangea is communal. Other guests may be seated at the table. There is a $12 per person food/beverage minimum.

Seating for the show begins at 9PM.  Its recommended to arrive no later than 9PM.

Late arrivals will be seated at management's discretion.
