2019 APSA 5th Annual National Conference
On behalf of The African Psychology Student Association (APSA), we would like to cordially invite you to attend our 2019 APSA
5th Annual National Conference entitled: "From 1619 to 2019: The Psychology of Enslavement, Liberation, and Maroonage for Africans in the Americas."
We have invited several brilliant scholars, including Dr. Amari Johnson, Dr. Afiya Mbilishaka, Dr. Iyelli Ichile, Dr. Grace Sanders, Dr. Symphonie Smith, Mr. Oba Tsara, and Mr. Kofi LeNiles. The conference will feature the recently released documentary, "Toward a Black Psychology: Origin & Evolution of a Discipline" produced by Dr. Shawn O. Utsey. Registration includes continental breakfast and admission to the luncheon/ awards banquet.
This much anticipated conference is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 8:00AM-4:00PM, at Bowie State University in the James E. Proctor Building Room 102. $25 APSA Members* $40 BSU students/ faculty/ staff** $45 Non-BSU *APSA Membership is $10 **Must present BSU ID upon entry - 5 CEUs will be offered - BSU Department of Counseling will earn 5 PDA hours.
