Choral Arts Ensemble 2013-14 Season Tickets
Note-Season tickets are will call only. Once you place your order, your name will be added to our season ticket list, and you will redeem your tickets at whichever October performance you choose to attend.
"Elements: Songs of Earth, Water, Fire and Air," Saturday, Oct. 19th, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20th, 3:00 p.m. St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 3228 SW Sunset Blvd., Portland. From the progressive Renaissance harmonies of Gesualdo, through the classical styling of Haydn and Mozart, to the contemporary evocations of Ola Gjeilo, the music will explore the historical and contemporary cultural contexts of earth, water, fire and air.

Your name will then be added to the appropriate list for whichever performance you select, and will gain you admittance into that concert. "CAE Pops! The Great American Songbook Saturday, March 1, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 3:00 p.m. St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 3228 SW Sunset Blvd., Portland. Following the popularity of our Opera & Broadway choruses concert, CAE will perform pieces drawn from the rich tradition of American song. Join us on a chronological journey from colonial folk songs through the civil war era, the parlor songs of Stephen Foster, ragtime, jazz and folk songs, to the best of contemporary American choral composers.
"Wine and Roses" Saturday, April 26, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 3:00 p.m. The Old Church, 1422 SW 11th Ave, Portland We close our 44th season with a concert dedicated to two of Portland's most famous attributes. The concert will center around Morten Lauridsen's Les Chansons des Roses (Songs for Roses), and will also include sets of flower songs from both Benjamin Britten and Eric Whitacre. We will also celebrate the vintner's craft with a variety of songs from Liszt, Rossini, Gilbert and Sullivan, and others. Please join us for an optional wine tasting event before each concert (with a separate admission price payable at the door).
