Ngaio Bealumat The Lab
When it comes to medical marijuana, Ngaio Bealums name is right up there with Doug Benson as far as comedians popularly associated with the blessed herb. This Sacramento native has hosted events for High Times and Hempfest, and in the daylight hours, Bealum serves as the editor of the monthly West Coast Cannabis magazine. A typical Bealum set includes jokes about why storing hash in your passport is a bad idea and how pot makes you a better parent. My kids smell me smoking pot and they know were heading to miniature golf in the next twenty minutes, jokes Bealum, whose first name is pronounced oon-guy-o. Im down for any animated feature when Im high,
Bealum was seen on The Sarah Silverman Program. He has also appeared on MTVs Half-Hour Comedy Hour, BETs Comic View, A&Es Evening at The Improv, and Comedy Centrals Comic Justice.
Ngaio was born in San Francisco to hippie parents, leading to jokes about how he got his name. He is well known for his many film and television appearances as well as for being a regular host of High Times events,[2] and more recently for being a frequent guest on Getting Doug With High hosted by fellow comedian Doug Benson. He recorded a CD called Weed and Sex.[3] Former member of the Award Winning Hip Hop band Most Chill Slackmob, and 1994 People's Choice Award winner of the International Jugglers Association Fest.
