Reproductive Freedom Is What We Want soars in a tapestry of 14 powerful shorts.
These are stories from the heart: humorous and tender; poignant and riveting. Theater, spoken word, comedy, poetry and oral history.
Reproductive Freedom Is What We Want is an exciting collection of works from a dozen writers, performed by an ensemble of actors.
Featuring Alinca Hamilton, Donna Jean Fogel and Carl H. Jaynes, under the direction of Francesca Mantani Arkus.
Performance followed by a discussion with Farah Diaz-Tello, a leading attorney on reproductive justice working with If, When, How and law students who support reproductive freedom and justice.
A staged reading including the works of: June Jordan, Justice Harry Blackmun and Sally Blackmun, Judith Arcana, Angela Bonavoglia, Esosa Edosomwan, Kathy Najimy and Mo Gaffney, Allie Costa, Michael David Quinn, Cindy Cooper, Living Newspaper Project, Feminist Health Network, Zoneziwoh Mbondgulo-Wondieh and more.
