The American Sephardi Federations Institute of Jewish Experience in partnership with Association Mimouna present a three-day scholarly and cultural conference dedicated to exploring the uncommon commonalities shared by Moroccan Jews and Muslims. The Morocco Conference is bringing together 40 of the worlds leading academics and artists to explore the historical, spiritual, and cultural expressions of Moroccos culture of coexistence. Scholars, dignitaries, and communal leaders will convene to share research, knowledge, and experiences to foster enhanced understanding and engagement with Moroccos tradition of tolerance and interconnectedness as a model for other Muslim nations and, moreover, the entire world.
The American Sephardi Federation and Association Mimouna present Noufel FK and Jawad, two masters of popular Moroccan and classical Judeo-Moroccan music, for Opening Night of The Morocco Conference. Join us for an evening of art, music, and kosher Moroccan delicacies!
Please note: Due to circumstances beyond our control Orchestre Debbi will unfortunately not be able to perform on Opening Night. Stay tuned for an update on the Orchestre. In the interim, reserve your complimentary seats for Closing Night featuring Omer Avital!
