Join the La Vuelta Ensemble in an exploration of our pretensions and secrets through play, high physicality, and delightful absurdity.

Notes:
- In this production, the audience will be "on stage" with the ensemble for most of the performance. Consent cards will be given before the performance begins, and each audience member will have the right to decide if and how much they want to be engaged with by the performing ensemble. We welcome all types of engagements!
- This production doesn't allow for audience seating, although seats will be gladly provided for those of us unable to stand for 60 minutes.
- Because of the nature of our performance, audience capacity is limited. Please reserve your ticket!

About La Vuelta Ensemble:
La Vuelta Ensemble began as Circo La Vuelta, a circus and theatre company in Puerto Rico. Founded in 2013 by Raquel Torre and Jean Claudio as they trained in Buenos Aires, Argentina, it was an autonomous space for the creation of circus and performance work. A seed of a company, they called it.

In 2016, the both of them moved to Chicago, seeking other experiences. After Jean completed a Professional Circus Training Program and as Raquel finished her MFA in Devised Performance Practice, they rethought the company as a minority-led performance ensemble with a focus on high physicality and delightful absurdity.

Now, in 2019, they find themselves launching this new embodiment of La Vuelta, and debuting their first production in the windy city... 'TRY TO BE'.
