CityDance Conservatory Concert
Come and celebrate the Conservatory Dancers of the 2018 - 2019 season with a concert featuring a rich collection of repertory from summer and international intensive guest artists such as Koresh Dance Company, Bruce Wood Dance, YY Dance and Yuanyuan Wang. The concert also features Choreographer-in-Residence Robert J. Priores original contemporary works and a restaging of the classical ballet Swan Lake by CityDance Conservatorys beloved Ballet Master, Stanislav Issaev.
Robert J. Priore has received the Pola Nirenska Award for Outstanding Contribution to Dance from the Washington Performing Arts Society this year and we will be commemorating that award in this Concert. Performances will highlight the many achievements of the CityDance Conservatory Dancers including awards and recognition from Youth America Grand Prix, DC Grand Prix, World Ballet Arts Competition, NAACP, YoungARTS Foundation and the Prix de Lausanne.
We will celebrate and graduate 23 of our finest Seniors who will go forward to the nation's most prestigious university dance programs, pursue double majors in dance and academics as well as enter professional companies. No matter what their college or professional endeavors will entail, they all carry our CityDance DNA.
