St Catherine's afternoon for former staff
Talk, tour and tea at Vann House Gardens, Hambledon.
The afternoon will include a short talk about the history of the house and a tour of the five-acre informal gardens and woodland by Alex White, former Director of Music in the Prep School, and now Head Gardener at Vann House.
This will be followed by a chance to catch up over tea and cake.
For those with a passion for gardening, Alex will be on-hand to answer your questions, and for film buffs, you might like to visit the setting for the recent British TV drama, 'Howard's End'.
Places are limited to 18
Where: Vann House Gardens, Hambledon, Godalming, Surrey GU8 4EF
When: Thursday 16th May. Meet for a 2pm start at the entrance. Approximate finish 4.30pm but gardens open until 6pm
Cost: £15 per head, including tea and cake
Parking: Ample parking in the field adjacent to Vann House. See Vann House website for directions.
