For the fifth year in a row, 6 of Santa Cruz's women songwriters will come together to create an evening of musical joy. Taking turns sharing their songs, these multi-talented women provide back-up harmonies for each other, and Patti Maxine provides her extraordinary lap steel back-up.

Nancy Cassidy's music is laced with love and loss, loneliness and community; ranging from feisty & romantic to blues, old-timey & sing-alongs, sung with her rich, deep & warm voice & heart.
Patti Maxine: Western Swing Hall of Fame steel guitar player. Very rare chance to hear Pattis original songs.
Wendy Treat composes many of her songs on an 8-string ukulele, which she plays in 3 Santa Cruz bands: Menage, The Rivervale Ramblers and The Trolley Drops. Her songs come straight from the heart. Her years of teaching school in Jamaica and Hawaii have brought the influences of those musical styles into her original songs.
Laura Devine has been singing and playing her mountain dulcimer since she was 19 years old! She was part of Hearts of the Dulcimer movie, and played in the Dulcimer Girls band for over 10 years.
Marky Starks: Music runs through Marky's mind all the time. Some are funny and some are rich forays into the landscape of our world.
Midyne Spears blend of contemporary folk is infused with blues, pop, and jazz influences that sprout seamlessly from her folk roots while her lyrics capture concrete images of life with surprising observations of human frailties
