LONG HOTS / DAVID NANCE GROUP

Cream Puff Records is thrilled to welcome Long Hots and David Nance Group to Charlotte for a set at Gryffon Haus, the best new music venue in town.

According to Aquarium Drunkard, Long Hots play "raw, blazing jams propelled by the Moe Tucker-esque thump of Eva Killinger (ex-Spacin) and thudding bass of Kathryn Lipman. The righteous rhythm section gives Rosali Middleman (youve picked up her recent solo album, right?) plenty of room to shred." Rosali played a solo set at Tabor last year. This time she returns with her band for a high energy garage/punk set with Long Hots.

Long Hots will be joined by David Nance Group, a band that Pitchfork says that David "clings to the most well-worn FM-radio tropes extended jams, grungy riffs, heroic choruseslike someone grabbing their most precious belongings from their burning house..For Nance, a face-melting guitar solo isnt just a showcase of virtuosity; its a form of therapy."
