5 pm Killjoys vs Valley Vendettas
Killjoys are hot this season folks so hot they're undefeated! Going up against the Vendettas, the odds are slightly more in favour of the Killjoys. But then again both teams beat the veteran Babes of Brutality. Both teams are two bouts into this season. The only difference is the Vendettas just lost to the Dams while the Killjoys have yet to play the Dams. So this match up while feeling a little lopsided could be one of those rags to riches stories where a team takes a loss and works really hard to learn from their mistakes and comes out fighting at the first whistle. Are the Killjoys sliding with the summer heat, relaxing on their undefeated record while the Vendettas are toiling in the darkness growing stronger as the days go by?

Yippie!!! We've been waiting all season to see these two teams square off. I'll bring you up to speed. The Babes are the oldest team in our league boasting four years of experience with many original players still skating together. RTRG is the newest of our teams less than a season old well in name anyways. RTRG is an amalgamation of the Bad News Betties and Gnarlies Angels. The Angels are the former nemesis of the Babes. The Babes and Angels have toiled back and forth with more bouts against each other than any other teams. The Angels left the series in the lead winning Mountain Mayhem III and leaving the league undefeated in season 3. Will the Babes remember? Will RTRG skate with the same ferocity as the Angels did? Will there be more cowbell?
