Rooted Recipes Project x Collective // Memories
Join us for Rooted Recipes Project x Collective // Memories, a community meal and participatory learning event in collaboration with Hummingbird Farm and Poder. Through cooking, storytelling, and interactive stations, participants will take part in creating the meal while learning how our collective Asian American and cross-cultural histories have shaped current social movements and can inform how we can work towards justice for all.
This event wouldn't be possible without the support of APICC, Grants for the Arts, SF Arts Commission, and California Humanities.
*Please note that this meal gathering takes place on an urban farm. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. There'll be opportunities to help do some gardening work.

Hummingbird Farm is near Crocker Amazon Playground. There's a parking lot with limited spots as well as limited street parking. This is accessible via the 8 and 43 MUNI buses and the closest BART station is Balboa Park BART.
