Karrin Allyson Smiles of a Summer Night - Almost Midsummer

Karrin is a long time favorite of Yakima audiences, having sung, taught and headlined our Fall Festival and performed Brazilian music with The Yakima Symphony. Her silky, smoky voice creates a personal connection with her audience. And her band is always spot on in support.
Now after years of covering jazz and other songbooks, she has released an album of originals "Some of that Sunshine." As with her other works, her new CD is getting rave reviews and topping the charts. If you haven't heard her, treat yourself. If you have, we'll see you there!
We describe our "Smiles of a Summer Night" series as that feeling you get as the sun and the music lingers in the air, the temperature of the air is the temperature of your skin, you enter a world of magic and dreams, and feel like you are floating in air like a Chagall painting.
