SALSA BLOWOUT with Buena Vibra Salsa Sextet
A supergroup of great musicians with an interest in getting your salsa on will fill our Smiles of a Summer Night series with great salsa and high energy fun. With a "street dance" decor be ready to dance the night away. And DON'T WORRY IF YOU CANT DANCE, OR DONT WANT TO, this band will get you moving in your seat! Also come early (7:30) and get a dance lesson from Sal(sa) Castaneda, our Salsa specialist. An afterward, Sal will host an after-party with more dancing and fun.

Launched on July 2012, Buena Vibra Sextet is a Seattle-based salsa band with an amazing repertoire specially compiled for those dancers who love to move their bodies to the rhythms of Salsa, Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, Guaguanco, and Bolero. Buena Vibra is comprised of some of the most talented and experienced musicians in the Pacific Northwest. Buena Vibra has performed in a wide range of venues, from crowds of thousands of professional and amateur dancers to smaller more personal events. Featuring pianist Fred Hoadley, bassist Jeff Volkman , vibraphonist Scott Ketron, timbalero Steve Guasch, bongocero Steve Smith, conguero Francisco Medina, and lead vocalist Frances Rosa.
