British singer-songwriter Bobby Long is making a special stop in Carlinville to benefit SamJam4NF, Inc. on his Sultans U.S. tour.

Bobby Long emerged from Londons club and folk scene with a reputation for creating memorable poetic songs and has released four albums. His critically-acclaimed debut A Winter Tale (2011) was followed by the more rock-oriented Wishbone (2013). He returned to his singer-songwriter roots for the evocative Ode to Thinking (2015), and now Sultans (2019) released on March 1 along with this accompanying U.S. tour.

Long headlines his own shows and has supported major artists, including Steve Winwood, Iron & Wine, Rodrigo y Gabriela and Brett Dennen, as well as playing high profile festivals like Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, the Dave Matthews Caravan, and Englands Glastonbury Festival. He has appeared on The Tonight Show and had a song featured in the blockbuster film Twilight.
