Join The Joyful Riders Club in celebrating #30daysofbiking with a friendly-paced, social ride from Surly Brewing Company to Hennepin History Museum. Riders receive half price admission to the museum. See the LifeCYCLES exhibit, produced in partnership with the Cycling Museum of Minnesota, featuring large format photographs of people who ride, make, fix and lift up bikes in our community. Inventions and Innovations is on view in another gallery, showcasing the engineers, designers, artists and others from Hennepin County and the stories of the products they created.
Riders of all speeds and experience levels are welcome, no one is left behind. You can count on high-fives galore and a beer. Farmstead Bike Shop, a locally owned, full-service bike shop in South Minneapolis, supports Joyful Riders rides, providing help with flat tires, shifting adjustments, and other on-the-spot fixes. (Please carry a replacement tube for your wheel and tire size with you.)
Meet up with the group at the firepit outside Surly Brewing Company, Malcolm Ave SE at 6:00; riders depart at 6:30.
