FANCY BALL 2019: The Highball

The SGC cordially invites you on the traditional spring expedition, a rail journey to the far reaches of Chicagoland where a multivenue extravaganza awaits.

Don your fanciest attire and get ready for the most ambitious Fancy Ball to date. With all the action, adventure, and revelry that you've come to expect, plus a concert extraordinaire! Enjoy the round-trip rail soirees (where the bar comes to you); satiate your thirst at the finest watering holes of a faraway town; indulge in a feast of local fare; dance to your hearts content with DJ and live band performances; all of this while in the glorious company of the fanciest folk you know (and a bunch you don't... yet).

SCHEDULE:
12:00pm Platform Gathering / Event Registration (Clybourn Station)
12:40pm Train Departs (the party begins)
1:30pm Train Arrives (undisclosed location*)
1:35pm Group Photo (dress fancy as fuck)
1:45pm Pub Stroll (or crawl if you like)
3:30pm Concert Venue (Feast, DJs, and Live Band)
7:30pm Train Departs** (the party continues)
8:20pm Train Arrives (Clybourn Station)
8:30pm >Optional< After-Party (pub nearby the train station)

*Full details and exact locations will be disclosed just prior to the event.

**Group Train departs at 7:30pm, but individuals can also take earlier/later trains if so desired.

***Ticket price includes a METRA weekend train pass (can be used all weekend long), drinks while on the rails, (2) drinks at the concert venue, buffet feast, concert admission and the adventure of a lifetime!

****Rain or shine, Fancy Ball will take place on Saturday, April 20th. There will be no rain date.

*****All funds raised will go towards future SGC projects and shenanigans.
