The Golden Triangle: Charles Neidich & Parker Quartet
A word to the wise music lover: Run, dont walk, to this series Frank Daykin from The New York Concert Review
Join us for the sixth installment of this season's WA Concert Series, The Golden Triangle: Prague - Budapest & Vienna (with a small detour to Paris & New York) featuring the Grammy Award-Winning Parker Quartet alongside Charles Neidich & Ayako Oshima. The program will include two seminal works from the 20th century and a work from the 19th century beginning with Martinu's Serenade for two clarinets and string trio, followed by György Kurtág's Officium breve in memoriam Andreae Szervánszky, Opus. 28 for string quartet and concluding with the iconic Johannes Brahms Quintet in B minor, op. 115 for Clarinet and String Quartet, arguably one of the greatest chamber works of the late 19th century.
