Imagine you are living in early 19th century Britain on an estate that none of your five daughters will ever inherit. This is the dilemma facing Mrs. Bennet and she therefore believes that it is essential that her children marry into wealth to support themselves after their father's death. However, her children have other priorities. As the story unfolds a hilarious conflict erupts when the daughters insist that love should take precedence over marrying for wealth, class and social status.
Based on the beloved novel of Jane Austen, this story has been a favourite with readers for over two centuries and has spawned many play and film adaptations.
