Universal Design Solutions for
Accessible Public Restrooms and
Multigenerational Public Restroom Design

If you attended, you are not eligible to receive CAB or AIA Units this time around but are welcome to attend.

Earn half of your 2019 license renewal accessibility requirement by attending this 2.5-hour lunch seminar. The course will apply ADA Accessibility Standards in concurrent, interactive Charrette breakout sessions to create universal design solutions for accessible public restrooms in different property types.

Learning Objectives:

-Understand how accessible, universal design meets the diverse needs of restroom patrons

-Identify 10 Key Guidelines for planning accessible, public restrooms.

-Learn how exceptional restroom design enhances market value of properties.

-Develop accessible, universal design solutions for different types of public restrooms.

-Overview of challenges and related solutions for multigenerational users.

-Identify related restroom concepts that address those trends

-Review the benefits of multigenerational design to various user types.
