Leroy Lee with Special Guest Jamey Geston
Friday, August 2nd at 8 pm, the Plaza Playhouse Theater is pleased to welcome Australian songsmith and acoustic guitarist, Leroy Lee to our stage. Opening for Leroy will be local favorite and equally talented musician, Jamey Geston, a shining and upcoming star.

About Leroy: Leroy Lee creates intimate and hypnotic, lamp-lit folk songs, drawing the listener into his unique world. From driving guitar riffs to intricate finger-picking melodies, Leroy is reminiscent of English folk legends like Nick Drake and Bert Jansch.
Leroy has spent the last few years traversing Australia performing with the likes of Glen Hansard (The Swell Season), Kaki King, Missy Higgins, Lior, Folk Uke, Steve Poltz, Joan As Policewoman and Jeff Lang.
His new EP "Arcadia" is an intuitive brew, weaving poetic metaphors around everyday experience, transporting us with intricate melodic textures ... surprising us with his turns of phrase and sonicly rich guitar landscapes - twisting and turning, leading us on an intimate journey of surprise and intrigue.
In the course of an evening, Leroy Lee creates a mosaic from details collected, fragments imagined and remembered, building sonic images that resonate and reverberate.
