Third Annual Cape Cod Super Sluggers Comedy Night

Scamps Comedy presents a night to benefit the Cape Cod Super Sluggers trip to the Cooperstown "Dream Park" Tournament at the Hyannis Golf Club, Route 132, Hyannis. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 7:30 show, featuring Artie (The Pharmacist) Januario, Jack Lynch and Joe Espinola. Artie Januario lives a double life as a pharmacist and one of Bostons premier comedians. Hes a regular performer at Denis Learys prestigious 18th annual Comics Come Home concert, the longest running comedy benefit show in the United States, which has raised more than $4 million for the Cam Neely Foundation and the fight against cancer. Hes traveled the country, performing all over New England as well as in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, and is a favorite for fundraisers and corporate events. Among the acts hes worked with: Dom Irrera, Brian Regan, Jeff Dunham, and Lenny Clarke.

Jack Lynch is a veteran of the Boston comedy scene who has toured all over the United States and parts of Canada, entertaining crowds with his earthy style, great impressions, and sarcastic view of the world. He has performed at all the major Boston venues as well as The Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut, The Borgata Casino in Atlantic City, and colleges on the East Coast.

Joe Espinola is an established name on the Boston scene, working regularly at Giggles and Kowloon, as well as fund-raisers and one-nighters around New England. Hes performed at theaters such as The Cabot in Beverly, the Black Box Theater in Peabody, and Amazing Things Arts Center in Framingham. Sly and engaging, his good-hearted sarcasm and droll point-of-view has earned him fans from Boston to Bangor. Hes worked with top comedians including Steve Sweeney, Lenny Clarke, Patty Ross and Paul DAngelo.
