3rd Shift Dance presents Shift Sessions Volume 8
Please join us on Saturday, July 13th as we wrap our 8th season with two shows at YAW Theater with our friends and musician collaborators Rain City Jazz Orchestra, LIV, and Julie-C.
Shift Sessions Volume 8 features choreography by Alli Montecillo, Elise Walker, Emmy Gockel, Megan Richardson, and Xaviera Vandermay with dancing and additional movement created by Ahnaleza Vandermay Weber, Alli Montecillo, Colleen Kearnes, Elise Walker, Ian Howe, Kirstyn Pagano, Lauren Trivette, Megan Hauk, Megan Richardson, Morgan Moeller, Phelicity Thompson, Risa Nagel, Sharonda Young, Tori Campbell, and Zahné Hart. Pieces you will see are "CONVERSATIONS" (Xaviera) featuring original music by Justen Weber, "Saving Face" and "Same Old Story" (Alli), "Lips" (Megan Richardson), "To Build A Home" (Elise), and Shift Sessions Volume 8 with live music by Julie-C, LIV, and Rain City Jazz Orchestra with choreography by Xaviera and Emmy ("smh" by LIV).
Show 1 will begin at 2pm with box office/bar opening at 1pm.
Show 2 will begin at 7pm with box office/bar opening at 6pm.
Advanced Tickets: $12 SAY! (Seniors, Artists, Youth), $18 General Admission, $25 Beer Me Package, $50 Super Patron Package, and $100 Hero Patron Package
At the box office, day of show ticket prices will be $20 for SAY! and General Admission with the option to add on the Beer Me wristband for an additional $10.
Shift Sessions Volume 8 is made possible by a generous 2019 residency at YAW Theater. The creation of CONVERSATIONS was made possible by our Class of 2019 Cornish Playhouse Arts Incubator Residency and was created in collaboration with scientists Dr. Amber Ismael and Ethan Campbell with its debut at Pacific Science Center.
