PERDITA DURANGO (Parkway Classics) with Author Barry Gifford in Person
Will the Thrill's Parkway Classics presents PERDITA DURANGO (Uncut, 1997; released domestically in censored version as "Dance with the Devil)) with author Barry Gifford in person!
This is actually the followup to "Wild at Heart" as the sordid, savage story follows the character of Perdita Durango (Rosie Perez) and her partner in violent crime Romeo (Javier Bardem) on a blood-stained trail of mayhem and sexual rampage, pursued by a relentless Federal agent (the late James Gandolfini). The supporting cast includes Aimee Graham, Don Stroud, Alex Cox, and Screamin' Jay Hawkins. Directed by Alex de la Iglesia. Author Barry Gifford, who co-adapted the script from his own story, will appear in person, interviewed before the screening by Will Viharo. Barry will also sign copies of his books for sale.
PARKWAY CLASSICS Cult favorites, party flicks, and rarely screened revivals from the relatively recent past, selected by Will "the Thrill" Viharo.
